Discover on this page the major ministry events happening in 2024. Of course, you don’t need to wait for a major event to volunteer with us. We need your help here every day.  Take a look at some of the opportunities listed below.


MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. “DAY OF SERVICE” (January 15th)
  • When? Monday, January 15th, 7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • What?  A day to honor the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by making a difference in the lives of ordinary people in a moment of need. Help with the sorting, separating, distributing clothes, food, household items, and furniture, plus any other opportunity which might be available that day.
  • Who? Bring yourself, your family, your friends and/or your team. We are kid-friendly, and it is a great place to serve together.
  • You can make a difference in the lives of people in need.

2019 Egg Hunt Fun.


“World’s Largest” Easter Egg Hunt (March 30th)
  • When? – Saturday, March 30th, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • What? – A family-friendly event with carnival games, free food, bouncy houses, fire trucks, free candy for kids, and a giant, 100,000 egg Easter egg hunt.
  • Volunteers – needed to hide Easter eggs, fill plastic eggs with candy, serve food, host outdoor carnival games, help with “bouncy houses,” set up prior to the event, and clean up afterwards.

Fall Festival 2020

Family Friendly Fall Festival (October 26th)
  • When? – Saturday, October 26th, Noon to 4:00 p.m.
  • What? – A family-friendly event with carnival games, candy for kids, bouncy houses, free food, and a hayride.
  • Volunteers – needed to work with bouncy houses, help with carnival games, serve food, setup before & cleanup afterwards.

Thanksgiving Day Delivery (November 28th)

Blessed families!

  • When? – Preparation (All November) / DeliveryThanksgiving Day, 8:00 a.m.
  • What? – It takes great work to receive, sort, and organize food in preparation for Thanksgiving Day. / On Thanksgiving Day, volunteers arrive at 8:00 a.m. to receive & deliver Thanksgiving food to families in need.
  • VolunteersAnytime during November, volunteers are needed to put together food boxes in preparation for Thanksgiving Day. / On Thanksgiving Day, volunteers are needed to assist in the delivery of Thanksgiving food to families in need, starting at 8:00 a.m.

Volunteers wrap gifts in our free “Christmas Store.”

Christmas Season and the “Christmas Store”
  • When? – Preparation (All December).
  • When? – Christmas Store Opens – December 14 – December 21st, 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day (excluding Sundays). The store will also be open on December 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
  • What? – the place where moms & dads pick out free gifts for their children.
  • Volunteers – needed to assist with the stock room, to help parents find the right gift for their children, to wrap presents, to help with childcare, and so much more.

Don’t Wait for an Event!
  1. We’re here every day – from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday – Saturday.
  2. No appointment is needed.  Just come on down whenever you are available, and we’ll get you to work.
  3. Volunteers work with – food, clothing, household items, and furniture (sorting, organizing, delivering), plus a variety of other important tasks which help us serve our community.
  4. Bring your team – Come by yourself, with the family, or your team.
  5. We are “kid-friendly.” – Bring the children too.
