Day to Day Food Needs

Jelly, Macaroni and Cheese; dinner items; Tuna, cereal, and rice and beans, and any dry good products which we can give away immediately would help greatly.

Volunteer Needs

  1. Phone Volunteers are especially needed on Monday and Tuesday mornings and on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday afternoons and/or early evenings. Call Emily at 817-277-6620, ext. 227 for more information.


  2. Drivers: Volunteers are needed to drive the elderly to doctor’s appointments, and also to assist single, working moms to take their children to and from school. Other special driving volunteer opportunities are also available. Call David at 817-277-6620, ext. 228 for more information.

  3. Furniture Delivery: Volunteers are needed to help deliver beds, couches, and more to homes where children are sleeping on the floor. You can help us deliver the furniture using your own truck, or by driving one of ours. Call Marne at 817-277-6620, ext. 211 for more information.

  4. Bible Study Teachers: Bible study teachers are needed for every age group - from preschool through adults - to teach the Bible. Contact Tillie Burgin at 817-277-6620, ext. 202 for more information about how you can get involved.

  5. After School Teachers: Children need help with their homework - the basics of life - so that they can improve in school and have a better chance of being successful in life. Mission Arlington hosts “after-school” programs in more than 40 different locations around Arlington and Grand Prairie. You can teach, or assist current teachers.
