World’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 7th, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Mission Arlington hosts our annual easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 11th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This year’s event will be held at the Lockwood center on the southeast corner of Fielder Road and Pioneer pkwy (303).
This event has become one of Mission Arlington’s most anticipated happenings. Children look forward to it all year long. Mission Arlington Bible study leaders begin gathering children from their homes early on Saturday morning. Last year, about 4,000 children attended this event. As with everything Mission Arlington does, there is no charge for this wonderful experience.
How it Works
It will take at least two hours for the children to complete the process of the day. Creative communicators will share the story of Easter with the children. Bouncy houses and games of all kinds cover the field. Food is furnished for free, and then the children hunt for Easter Eggs. All in all, an experience to remember.
You Can Help
We need 120,000 plastic eggs for an event of this magnitude. And, we need individually wrapped candy of all kinds to put into the eggs. Individuals, families, and groups of all kinds participate throughout the day. You can help by donating plastic eggs and individually wrapped bags of candy.
You can help make this day a success. Volunteering as an individual or with a group at the egg hunt is a lot of fun, and much needed. If you can help for all or only a part of the day, we want you to come. Give us a call at 817-277-6620, or just drop us a note. We’ll get you going from there.
