Bring Your Group to work at Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex
There are many kinds of groups who make a difference every week at Mission Arlington. Elementary classes, High school student councils, corporate volunteers, scout troops, civic clubs, and more, have come here to work.
No organization is too large or too small, and timing is very flexible. Some groups come for a few hours, and some stay for weeks at a time.
Work Project Groups
Volunteer groups come to the Mission year round to participate in our ongoing ministries and services. They help pick up donations, make deliveries, pass out flyers, stock the food pantry, manage the clothing room, work around the office, and a myriad of other day-to-day activities.
Special Events and Holiday Groups
Mission Arlington hosts health fairs, crime watch socials, neighborhood cookouts, back-to-school parties, day camps, and a multitude of other events. Groups help these events happen by painting faces, grilling hot dogs, knocking on doors, driving buses, and fulfilling every other role imaginable.
Many of our activities center on holidays. Each year we prepare turkey dinners, have Halloween carnivals, hide Easter eggs, and wrap gifts.
Rainbow Express Groups
Every year many Christian student and church groups come here to lead a weeklong Rainbow Express. Rainbow Express is a Vacation Bible School and/or back yard Bible club, held in multi-housing communities and other locations in and around Arlington. Specialized Groups
A ministry as large and diverse as Mission Arlington is constantly in need of skilled help. Every year hundreds of specialists in every field come to help. Medical Mission trips help keep our medical and dental clinics staffed. Mechanics make sure our vehicles run. Construction crews keep our facilities growing and useful. You can use your professional training and experience to make a difference here.
