Nichols Jr. High sings at Mission Arlington

Mission Arlington / Mission Metroplex represents a community effort. Groups of people from across the United States, the Metroplex, and our own community routinely arrive in downtown Arlington to lend a helping hand.

So far this year, 7,748 people from 320 different groups have come to help. These groups have arrived in Arlington from fifty eight (58) Texas cities and twelve (12) different states outside of Texas.

Within our own community, churches, civic organizations, schools, businesses, and more use their energy and gifts to help the people Mission Arlington serves.  Recently, a group (pictured above) from Nichols Jr. High used their talents to lift the spirits of people waiting for help in Mission Arlington’s front room.

Their voices filled the waiting room with music.  Volunteers and guests alike were inspired by the ability and availability of these young people.  They were giving of themselves to make a difference.  It worked.

When people use their time, energy, and gifts to help others, it not only provides authentic help, but provides encouragement to everyone involved.

Mission Arlington / Mission Metroplex is blessed to be a place where all of this comes together.
