News: Calm in the Storm

The Bible study leader at a North Arlington apartment community has been faithful to teach God’s Word to the people.

Not long ago, the area went through severe storms that brought heavy rain, hail, and strong winds.

A few days after the storm, the ladies gathered for evening Bible study. One lady, who was really scared during the storm, began to share.

She said she called her sister. They began to pray over the phone. They remembered the story of how Jesus calmed the storm.

They began to read the story in the Bible. Another lady said, “I did the same thing. I began to pray. I remembered the story, and I was able to find it in the Bible. I began to read the Bible. It wasn’t long before the storm subsided.”

These believers may fear the storms, but they know the Creator. They know that He is able to calm any storm in their life. They believe He hears their prayers.

Pray for Bible study leaders, who faithfully teach God’s Word. Pray for believers who are learning to trust their Creator, Lord, and Savior.

Thank you so much for your constant faithfulness to pray for and support the work of Mission Arlington / Mission Metroplex.
