As a part of the city’s “Health and Wellness” program, the City of Arlington joined hands with a 28 member “Weight Watchers at Work” group which chose Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex as their chairty of choice.
Two hundred fifty families (1,000 people) are coming through Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex’s front doors during these difficult economic times. 28 members from the City of Arlington’s Weight Watchers at Work group wanted to do something to help.
Group members collected 580 pounds of food and brought it to the Mission offices downtown. That food will go directly into the hands of those in need.

Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex is so grateful for the support of Weight Watchers and the City of Arlington in our endeavor to take care of people in need.
Thanks to each of you who are making such a difference here.
