News: Unexpected Grace
Thursday, March 13, 2008 10:25 AM
Yesterday was another really special day at Rainbow Express. A youth group is here from Austin with about 32 people, a mix of junior high and high school students.
Mark, the youth minister from the group, told Mission Arlington staff that he was concerned yesterday, because some of his students seemed timid about sharing their faith.
Last night Mark worked with them pretty intensely about being bold in their testimonies. He wanted them to be strong as they shared their faith.
In talking through it, many of the students decided that they had no testimonies. Mark stayed up until 3 a.m. this morning counseling with members of his own youth group, and twelve of them prayed to receive Christ last night.
Needless to say, he was pretty excited about their trip. They came to share Christ with others. In so doing, they found unexpected Grace.
We thank the Lord for all He is doing in our midst. We are grateful for your prayers, and for all the ways you provide support to Mission Arlington’s work with children and youth in our community.
