Mission Arlington hosted two revival services in two locations this week, one in central Arlington, and one on the North side of town.
24 years ago, the St. Charles apartment community was called New Orleans court, and was the site of Mission Arlington’s first Bible study. Jack and Imogene Longgrear started the Bible study at the Woodland West apartments in 1988, two years after Mission Arlington started. They have been there ever since.
On Sunday night, the storms blew in just prior to the start of revival services, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of those in attendance. On Tuesday evening, the rain fell, just as the services were ending. This was especially an answer to prayer for the St. Charles revival, which was being held outside.
The Lord moved in both places. Several people rededicated their lives to the Lord, and many people accepted Christ as their Savior. Seeds were planted too in many who didn’t respond, but couldn’t pull themselves away.
So many of you have been praying, and providing practical help for these revival services. Thank you so much for your constant support. Pray with us that the sparks which have been ignited this week will be fanned into a flame. We are asking the Lord that true revival come out of these revival services.
Praise His Name!
