As Hurricane Gustav reaches land, and as more people arrive in Arlington needing shelter, Mission Arlington stands by to help.
As of this writing, nine buses are on their way to Arlington with people needing shelter.
It is difficult to tell how many people are on those buses.
The Mission Arlington family is working with Arlington’s Emergency Management team, and many other churches and non-profit partners to provide a continuum of care for evacuees needing assistance.
Thank you for your phone calls and e-mails letting us know that you are ready to step in and help in whatever way you are needed.
Your support means so much to the entire Mission Arlington family.
Please note that Mission Arlington is open and in operation on labor day.
