The Texas Rangers Women’s Club was organized in 1974.
They support the Texas Rangers in a variety of ways, and also invest themselves in the lives of the less fortunate in our community.
This week, the Women’s Club invited fifty of Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex’s children and youth to attend a Texas Rangers baseball game free of charge.
The Rangers were playing the Seattle Mariners. The team truly hit a home run with these young Mission Arlington fans. The Rangers Mascot came by to entertain, and one ball player signed autographs.
In addition to enjoying the game, the students were provided with complimentary soft drinks and snacks.
The young people who attended had a wonderful time. Some of them had never been to a Rangers game before.
The smiles on the their faces told the whole story.
Mission Arlington is grateful for community partnerships with wonderful organizations like the Texas Rangers Women’s Club and so many others who help us make a difference in the lives our our community’s children.
