News: Celebrate Recovery

Wednesday, May 07, 2008 5:00 AM

Chuck and Jan give leadership to this wonderful ministry.

Please join others every Friday night who are celebrating their recovery from hurts, habits, and hangups.

More than a year ago now, Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex joined hands with “Celebrate Recovery.”

“Celebrate Recovery” is part of a national ministry centered on biblical principals, based on the 12 recovery steps, and placed in a local church.

This Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex supported ministry meets every Friday night at Grace Street Fellowship, 1516 W. Pioneer Pkwy. in Arlington, TX.

A free meal starts at 6:00 pm., and the group meeting is from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.  The first hour consists of worship, teaching, and testimonies.  Men and women divide into separate small groups from 8:00 to 9:00 pm.  Childcare is available.

All guests and members will remain anonymous.

Through this ministry, people are finding freedom from their addictive, compulsive, and hurtful behaviors.

You can too!

No one will pretend that it is easy to recover from hurts, habits, and hangups, but it can be done.  Why not join others who understand what its like and who will walk the journey with you?

It really is possible to celebrate your recovery.

If you would like to talk with someone personally about this ministry, please call 817-548-1550.
