News: Christmas Expansion

Mission Arlington’s Christmas Store has been running “full to the brim” for the past several years. Last year, the mission family provided Christmas toys, trees, turkeys, and bikes to 30,080 children and youth.
As anyone who has volunteered in the Christmas store for the past several years would know, Mission Arlington’s Christmas Store had become crowded.
Shoppers, stockers, wrappers, and more were mingling in the same building with people who needed help for Christmas. More than 3,000 people went through the Christmas Store each and every day, not including volunteers.
This year, the Christmas Store has expanded into the building next door, on the west side of Mission Arlington’s campus downtown. The space for the Old Christmas Store will now be used to receive, sort, and separate the toys coming into Mission Arlington.
The expanded space will allow the Mission to take better care of the people who need the store. It will also provide much needed space for volunteers. We are grateful.
