News: Candy needed for Fall Festival
Wednesday, October 03, 2012 8:46 AM
Mission Arlington hosts a “Fall Festival” each year, as an alternative, family-friendly event for children in our community.
Each year, the festival happens on the Sataurday before Halloween. This year, the Festival happens on Saturday, October 27th, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Mission Arlington’s Fall Festival is free for the community.
Bouncy houses, a huge carnival, a mysterious maze, soccer cages, and of course, lots of candy, make it a pretty fun day for all involved.
Children come dressed in a variety of colorful costumes, adding spice to what already is a very festive day.
Volunteers from key clubs, church youth groups, civic organizations, and local businesses, make it possible for us to host this event. Typically, nearly 2,000 children attend.
Mission Arlinton needs your help to have the candy on hand to give to the children who attend. Please bring individually wrapped bags of candy to the Mission Offices downtown if you are able. This would be a big help to us, as we get ready for the festival.
Thank you for all you do to help us love the children and youth in our community.
