News: Rain or Shine

We’ve reported here already that the Lord sent an army of young people to Arlington this week. 1,200 students came from across the metroplex and around the nation to share Christ’s love.
When they could have been taking time off, instead they chose to give of themselves and their time to serve the Lord in our community. What a difference they have made here this week.
The rain fell long and hard earlier this week. Undaunted, these young people stayed faithful to their call. One group used their trailor as their “dry spot” for the Bible study. Another group went door to door and held Rainbow Express individually. Others met under car ports, in laundry rooms, and wherever else they could find to stay dry.
Their commitment to come even in unfavorable conditions spoke volumes. God’s love just can’t be stopped. The numbers below summarize the week pretty well:
3,529 children, and 413 youth came to Rainbow
Express in 113 locations this week. Total
attendance for the week reached 7,860 people.
We praise the Lord for His faithfulness. We are grateful for your constant support.
