Puppet show at a Mission Arlington "kiddie" camp

One Tuesday night, July 14, 2009, we held our second camp of the summer for younger children - affectionately called “kiddie camp.”

Instead of the day-long camp for older children, Mission Arlington hosts this camp indoors over about a 2 1/2 hour period.

We were pleasently suprised when 325 rambunctious and energetic  ”kindergarten through third graders” came for camp!

The children had a great time, enjoyed stories, crafts, puppets, bouncy houses, and a dramatic re-telling of an Old Testament story. Hot dogs, chips, a soft drink, and a cookie were also a part of the fun.

Each child attends the camp with their Bible study leader and other supportive adults. It was exciting to watch the interaction between the Bible study leaders and the children who were following close behind them.

The Mission Arlington family love spending time with children. Thank you so much for all of your support.  Keep us in your prayers as we host several more camps this month.
