News: Soaring

Five hundred forty (540) students landed at Mission Arlington for a few hours on Tuesday to reach out to the children and youth in our community.
These students came from all over Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. These 7th through 12th graders were attending a SOAR conference in Dallas. “Soar,” a conference sponsored by the Baptist Missionary Alliance, means “sold out and radical.” Three thousand (3,000) students attended the conference.
Nearly 20 percent of the students started their conference by serving at Mission Arlington. After a short introduction, training time, and a time of prayer, these students went out into the community to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
They went to 32 different locations around the community. Hundreds of children and youth attended the events. Many of them accepted Christ.
Mission Arlington is so grateful for the partnerships we have in Christ, and for the way the Lord brings people here to make a difference in His Name!
