Afterschool lessons at an Arlington apartment community.

Many of the young people in our community need a little extra help to be successful in school. Mission Arlington volunteers provide homework help and tutoring each week in more than 40 locations around our community.

All kinds of people volunteer to help in the afterschool programs - both young and old, and people from many different walks of life.  Pictured here is Steven, a high school student who teaches students two afternoons a week in an Arlington apartment community club house.

Mission Arlington is currently looking for volunteer teachers who would be able to help us help the students. We have many students who could use just a little extra help in order to be successful in school.  If you would like to help, give us a call at 817-277-6620.

Thanks so much for all you do already to help Mission Arlington. We look forward to hearing from you.
