Privacy Statement for Mission Arlington

Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex maintains this website as a service to our volunteers and supporters, and as a source of information for those interested in learning more about Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex. Visitors to this site who provide information do so voluntarily. Visitors need not register or provide any “personally identifiable information” to access any part of this site.
The term “Personally Identifiable Information” refers to information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate, the person to whom the information pertains.
This privacy statement demonstrates our commitment to online privacy. The following formally discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for this website.
Information Collection and Use
Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex collects only information that is voluntarily submitted. We will not share information in any manner that is not disclosed in this statement. The sole use of this information is for contact purposes—to send receipts, “Thank You” letters, and Newsletters—and to respond to questions or comments from website visitors.
Forms
Two forms on this site collect personal information: the “Feedback” form, accessed via the “Send Comments” link, and the “Online Donations” form.
The “Feedback” form allows a visitor to give input about the website or other aspects of our ministry. This form collects the visitor’s name, email address, and comments. The web server sends an email to Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex containing this information. Also included in this email is the IP address associated with the computer that requested the “Feedback” form from the web server, and the version information for the web browser used. This information is not stored on the web server or in the web site database. The emails containing the information remain in email storage on Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex servers.
The “Online Donations” form allows our supporters to donate conveniently via the Internet. This form collects personally identifiable information including contact and credit account information and stores the data in a database hosted at our web host company, Infosaic Technologies, LLC (www.infosaic.com). The information stored includes the following:
- Name, address, email, and phone if provided
- Donation amount, type of card, and expiration date
- Comments and/or information related to memorial or honorarium donations
NOTE: Your complete credit card number is NOT stored in the database. The database stores a masked form of the number that includes only the last four digits, e.g., XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-1234.
Credit account information that is collected is transmitted from our web server to First American Payment Systems, Inc. where the online transaction is processed on their secure servers. This occurs when the donor clicks the “Submit” button on the “Verify Donation Information” form. Data collection and transfers are protected using SSL encryption technology. Those who wish not to send information over the Internet may instead print the completed “Online Donations” form and fax it to Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex at 817-277-3388.
Use of Cookies
Our website makes no use of Cookies at this time.
Log Files
When a web browser retrieves pages from the web server, the server records data in the server logs that the webmaster uses to track trends in website usage, diagnose problems with the server, and to administer the web site. This data is not “personally identifiable information.” The data is summarized and presented only in aggregate via graphs and tables. Examples of these data items include IP addresses, operating system version, and the general type and version of web browser used (e.g., Netscape 3.x/IE 4.x).
Information Sharing
Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex does not share information with any person, organization, or other entity except as outlined above related to the “Online Donations” form. The sharing occurrs when the “Submit” button is clicked and the data is sent to First American Payment Systems, Inc. for processing.
Security
The website server uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to secure the exchange of data. This protocol applies to the “Online Donations” form and to the transmission of that data to First American Payment Systems, Inc. Data submitted via the “Feedback” form is not encrypted.
Choice/Opt-Out
A donor who gives to Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex via the “Online Donations” form may click the checkbox next to the e-mail field to be automatically added to the email mailing list. Leave the box un-checked if you do not want to be added to the list. To indicate your wish to be removed from the mailing list, you may:
- Use the “Send Comments” form.
- Send email to mission@missionarlington.org requesting to be removed from the list.

Correct/Update
Visitors may notify Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex, Inc. of a change to information previously provided using one of the contact options noted under Choice/Opt-Out.
