Clinic History

In August, 1986, Mission Arlington began by offering Bible Studies in low-income multi-housing communities. It was evident that they’re needs went beyond spiritual.

Mission Metroplex’s Allan Saxe Dental Clinic was established in 1993. Jean Cagle, the Clinic Director, oversees day-to-day operations with a volunteer staff including dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants and other support staff. No patient pays for any care received. The Allan Saxe Dental Clinic operates completely on a donation basis.

Volunteer

We need Dentists and Hygienists to serve in the Allan Saxe Dental clinic. Clinic hours are flexible based upon the availability of professional help. Please contact Jean Cagle, Clinic Director at 817-277-6620.

Clinic Needs

Salaries for Paid Positions: With available funds, the clinic would be able to hire additional paid personnel, allowing them to accept more new patients each week and reduce waiting time for return visits. Additionally, the clinic could increase the denture caseload and free up volunteers for more special programs such as sealant days and shelter-only.

Funds to Update Equipment: All equipment since the clinic opened has been donated and it has become increasingly necessary yet expensive to maintain and repair this equipment.

Funds to Purchase Supplies: We are so very thankful for all the supplies that are currently donated to the clinic. However, there are times we don’t have the supplies available needed to provide patients the highest level of are possible.

For more information or to make a donation, call us at 817-277-6620. For your convenience, we also accept online donations.
