The Prayer Garden

More than Physical: Nourishment for the Spiritual Journey

Bible Studies

The Bible makes such a difference in the lives of people who read it and apply it to their lives. Mission Arlington volunteers lead Bible studies in a variety of settings across the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. These Bible studies are designed to be practical and useful for every day living. If you would like to attend one of our Bible studies, just give us a call, and we will help you find a location close to where you live.

Congregations

There are many reasons that people feel disconnected from the church. Mission Arlington loves to help people reconnect by taking church to the people, wherever they are. Mission Arlington congregations tend to be small, led by lay people, and held in a variety of settings, from apartment club houses to neighborhood homes. Dress is casual, and the musical styles vary from place to place. Call us to find a location nearest you.

Curriculum

Mission Arlington writes its own age-appropriate and context-sensitive Bible study curriculum. This curriculum is created for children, teenagers, and adults, and it is used in our Bible studies, Rainbow Express, and more. The material is designed to be helpful to people who didn’t grow up around the church. You can download this curriculum free of charge from our website in the resources section.

Internships

Mission Arlington offers a “hands on” learning experience which both supports and supplements the academic environments of educational institutions. Independent school districts in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, along with higher institutions of learning, assign students to work in an intern relationship at Mission Arlington. Students can gain experience in the areas of medicine, nursing, social work, service, and more. Seminary students can intern in the arenas of church planting, evangelism, social ministries, Christian Ethics, and missions. Internships vary according to the needs of the student and the learning institution.

Prayer

If Mission Arlington offers people food and clothing, but doesn’t help connect them to Christ, then we have missed the very best gift we have to offer. We believe in the power of prayer to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families. Many people today do not have someone to pray with them. The volunteers of Mission Arlington want to fill that gap. If you have a special prayer need in your life, or if you would just like for someone to pray with you, please call or come to see us or give us a call.

Prayer Garden

Mission Arlington’s Prayer Garden is located on the south end of our main property, at the intersection of Oak Street and UTA Blvd. Built with love, the Prayer Garden is open to all who want to find a quiet place to connect with God. To learn more about the prayer garden, click here!

Revivals

Each summer, Mission Arlington leads “Tent Revivals” in support of the ministries and congregations active throughout the Metroplex.  In 2003, the Mission held 11 revivals in three different languages. 73 people made decisions for Jesus Christ.

Training

Ninety missionaries now serving across North America and around the world received a portion of their training right here in Arlington, TX. Future missionaries are given practical, “hands on” training in the arenas of evangelism, prayer, church planting, community ministries, and Christian Ethics. Mission Arlington provides a 24/7 missions immersion experience which parallels the joys and hardships missionaries will experience when they arrive at their destination. Churches, seminaries and mission sending institutions partner with Mission Arlington in this endeavor.
