Mission Arlington® sponsors afterschool programs in more than 40 locations across our community. These programs, led by volunteers and absolutely free, give kids a safe place to be, inspire them to learn, and provide a much needed lift to working families. More than 2,000 students attend Mission Arlington’s afterschool programs each week.
Working with Mission Arlington® in an afterschool program is a rewarding proposition. Very quickly, our volunteer teachers fall in love with the students that they support. It can’t be helped. Volunteering to help students succeed in school is both meaningful and fun.
Mission Arlington® is always in need of more volunteer teachers to help in our afterschool programs. If you are interested in serving with us - alongside our community’s students, then give us a call, and we’ll get you started.
