Two students at a Mission Arlington feeding Frenzy

An important part of Mission Arlington’s ministry is our work with teenagers.  In addition to working with teens in our weekly Bible studies, Mission Arlington hosts several events designed specifically for teenagers.

During the Easter season, teenagers were invited to a special worship service designed specifically for them. 206 youth attended the event. Every Friday night in April, Mission Arlington gathers teenagers to play in basketball leagues.

During the summer, Mission Arlington hosts a free camp for teenagers that includes swimming, Bible stories, crafts, creative games, and a lot more.

Once each month, Mission Arlington hosts a “feeding frenzy” for students attending Sam Houston High School. Caring volunteers from the community cook hamburgers and hotdogs and serve them to the students.  In the past two months, more than 800 students have eaten at this event. The two students pictured above were attending one of Mission Arlington’s “feeding frenzies.”

Mission Arlington is so grateful for the young people in our community and for our opportunity to be a part of their lives.  We are so grateful too for the way your support enables us to make a difference with youth.
