Summer Missionary Rebecca holds a child at a Mission Arlington Tent Revival
The Summer is a great time to be at Mission Arlington. Summer Missionaries begin arriving in late May, and they will be here through August.
Rainbow Express begins again in full force. Student groups from around the nation arrive to lend a helping hand. Thousands of junior high, high school, and college students arrive in Arlington to make a difference with the children and teenagers in our community.
With school out, families need a little extra help taking care of their children. Mission Arlington is there, partnering with the Arlington Independent School District, to make sure children have enough to eat.
Mission Arlington camps begin in July. A preschool camp happens each Tuesday evening. Elementary aged students and youth go to camp on Saturdays throughout the month.
All Summer long, the Mission Arlington family hosts Summer programs for children and youth all across our community. As Summer comes to a close, Mission Arlington will provide school supplies to help students with resources to start school with what they need.
Of course, even with all these special events for students, every other ministry continues in full force. Mission Arlington’s medical and dental clinics don’t miss a beat. The front room (for emergency assistance) is open six days a week. Of course, the Bible studies happening throughout the community continue to meet each week.
Stop By Mission Arlington when you can. The constant support of this community is an encouragement, and it makes a difference. Come join us!
