Mission Arlington began on August 1st, 1986. Mission Metroplex, Inc. was formed in 1990 to support the work of Mission Arlington. Tillie Burgin is the Executive Director.
Purpose
Mission Metroplex supports the work of Mission Arlington in several ways:

Mission Metroplex provides monetary and other resources for Mission Arlington as a supplement to the support already provided by local churches. These additional resources give the ministry a means of independent growth, and keep Mission Arlington from being an undue burden on the financial resources of local congregations;

Mission Metroplex provides an umbrella of liability for the churches who support the ministries of Mission Arlington;

Mission Metroplex provides a method of funding for individuals and groups within the community who can’t or won’t give through a local church;

Mission Metroplex facilitates the participation of all churches in town across the denominational spectrum.
Governance
Mission Metroplex, Inc. is governed by an independent Board of Directors. The Mission Metroplex Board are committed Christians, faithful in multiple local churches, and committed to praying for, investing in, and volunteering with Mission Arlington.
Relationship
Mission Metroplex does business as Mission Arlington, thus the designation Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex.
Accountability
In addition to an annual audit by a local, respected accounting firm, Mission Metroplex is also a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. You will see the ECFA seal of approval on every page of the Mission Arlington website.The ECFA is committed to helping organizations like ours to earn and maintain the public’s trust through the development of accountability standards which affirm God honoring, ethical practices.
